Second Interviews and Offers

Second Interviews

Blue Sky Careers often recommends a second interview to confirm appointment decisions.  It’s also wise to make sure that independent parties are present at interviews for a second opinion and for impartiality purposes.  Often second interviews will obtain further evidence of why someone is right for a specific role.  Of course, it sometimes happens that the opposite occurs too.  A second meeting allows the client and the candidate to double check that everything is in order to progress to offer stage.

Making an Offer

Often offers are made verbally, accepted and then the formal agreement is put in writing and signed by all parties with a start date agreed.   Blue Sky Careers manages the entire process to completion, agreeing start dates and making sure that all the fine details are ironed out prior to contract signing.

In many cases, there is a great deal of negotiation involved in reaching final offer and acceptance stage.  Throughout the process, we maintain momentum, keep all parties fully informed and maintain dialogue in a timely way until final terms are agreed.

Blue Sky Careers works closely with our clients on industry remuneration guides and strategies for competitive advantage.  We also help our clients prepare  job descriptions and associated selection criteria.  If you need help or guidance in this area, please speak to one of our consultants on 07 3229 5981.
